Pizza Pockets

We all love pizza. Wether you spend time with your family creating your favourite pizza with your own choice of toppings or simply order a takeaway on lazy nights, we are all, in some form, pizza addicts. Although what some may not know is pizza comes in various shapes and sizes. So, for all of those clueless people who are missing out and those who would like to try this cheesy goodness at home, here’s a recipe for pizza pockets!

1.     Create your own usual pizza base or purchase one
2.     Roll dough into your own choice of thickness and cut into squares, at least 4-5 inches’ wide
3.     Spread some pizza sauce on each square
4.     Fill the squares with your favourite cheeses and add your favourite toppings (pepperoni, pineapple, ham, chicken, capsicum) THE LIST GOES ON!
5.     Fold the squares neatly and ensure no filling is able to come out
6.     Place in it in the over on 220 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes
7.     Serve with ketchup!

Pizza pockets are a small pastry filled with cheese, alongside any ingredients you choose to put in. Although very simple to make, this mouth watering savoury snack will leave your friend and family in awe and very pleased. This snack is remarkably delicious and is perfect for nights where you just want to try something a bit new or innovative. It is an exciting snack, and will easily become your children’s favourite.

What I love most about this dish is that it can be so personalised. You can add absolutely anything you wish. So, enjoy this utterly mouth watering snack with your friends and family!!
