                 TIME TO MAKE POLISH CABBAGE ROLLS!!


 

 

Traditional Polish food has its admires around the world. Whenever you go there is always a huge possibility to find Polish restaurants and try delicious Polish dishes that are prepared according to Polish cookbooks.  

Either you decide to eat in the restaurant or prepare by yourself at home I am hoping that you, your family and friends will find Polish food very enjoyable and unforgettable.

 Let's begin...

  • Firstly, you will need a large leaf of cabbage as shown below. 

  • Next make the filling by combining ground beef, ground pork, cooked rice, an egg, sauteed onions and garlic with a bit of the tomato sauce. 

  • Mix the filling together (with your hands works best), season with salt and pepper and place about 1/3 cup of this filling mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf.   

  • Starting with the stem-end, fold the sides in and roll up the cabbage to enclose the filling. 

  • Place the cabbage rolls side by side in rows. Then bake for 50 minutes.
